Marriages and Jazz..


Not Just Jazz By The Bay is a cozy restaurant on the marine drive just off the Ambassador Hotel. Just the ideal place for the weekend, with good music, decent food and an amazing crowd. Amit was back home for the weekend and he wanted to eat someplace nice and so did A and F(pronounced V) so off we went down South on Sat night. We reached the place by about 11.00 pm but the friendly maitre got us a place near the stage. The music was good, the live band was playing songs that I had heard before and not songs that I had to research on the net to hear.
A good mix of rock ‘n’ roll and other popular numbers that got us dancing. Poor F was praying to god that she had her safety boots on with Amit stamping away.
I also got to witness an amazing moment when some guy actually got on to the stage and asked his girl if she would marry him. Luckily for him she said yes, for it would be really embarrassing if she thought otherwise.
We finished with the standard round of ice creams at bachelors and drove back.
Sunday thanks to the rain gods who took a coffee break got to play tennis with Malik. Man my stamina sucks, need to join the gym soon..:P
