Alumni vs Present Team

Alumni vs Present team matches started in 2005, the year I was basketball secretary. Farooq, Coach Edwin, Coach Appaji and the Alumni office were instrumental in putting it all together. I have played in 4 of them 1 as the team and 3 as the alumni. This year I was lucky to have moved back just in time for the match.

Diamond turned up like a typical sheth, inclusive a nice round belly and love handles.

Anchit still has killer form, but as injury prone as ever.

Capt George was as usual the fittest member of the team, and Ashwin was playing as many sports as he could. Vinay and Avinash still haven’t lost their game, it is really nice to see how the oldies just get back into the game. Dev still travels and so does Ravi. Oli turned up with a funny accent, he looked thinner than he was at IIT.

I was messing around with the camera trying to get some shots while the game was in play. It has lead to a deep routed respect for sports photographers. I still haven’t managed to get one decent shot of the game in play. Looks like it a long road ahead.
