Emirates.

Everyone raves about Dubai Duty Free.. I made some calculations and really didnt find it that cheap, it was ok and in some counts more expensive than the originals. I still cant figure out why people make such a big deal out of it. That reminds me I need to buy glares, think will take Nin shopping .. She has such awesome taste.
Emirates as an airlines is superb the flight from Dubai to Houston was the best I ever got in. With touch screen personal entertainement system, great food and great service they simply bowled me over. The selection of movies they had was also complete(1000 movies), even with my super fast fwding I could not got through all the collection they had.
Will write something more on the flight from Mum to Dxb.

The weather here is superb. Roaming about in a baski jersey, shorts and chappal. Poor Sujay and Prady must be freezing their asses off in NY. Seems there is a blizzard there. Had bbq in the morn for breakfast from a roadside wendor and then had McD for lunch. I see the tyre bulging already...need to do something or people will be asking me which month soon .. :P
So tempted to go the Chinese place for dinner..General Tso chiken is so tempting.. No I shall not .. I will drink water and have a salad.

I was doing a back of the envlope calculation to see how long by flight was . . I reached the aiport about 1.30 for a 4 am flight that is about 2.5 hrs in the airport then the emirates flight to Dubai was about the same time that makes is 5 hours till then. Strangely I lost Prady in Sujay at the airport, hopefully will bump into Prady on the way back if none of our flights get delayed. Back to the calc.. The next connection EK211 was 3 hours later making it 8 hours, and it takes about 17 hours direct to Houston making it 25 hours. Then the immigration and cab ride back,2 hrs. Wrapping it at a total of 27 hours.

Day light savings starts tomo, need to get to work by 6am to accomodate that.
